Wa see off Annan in heavyweight cup clash.

The top two in the Metrik Office Premier Division met in the Challenge Trophy and Hole in Wa went through against a weakened but stubborn Annan Town side 3-1. Wa were awarded a penalty on 7 minutes and Terry Jardine converted to give Wa the lead. Wa then scored on half time David Patterson converted after good work. Craig Welburn then scored a great goal for Annan from the edge of the box and suddenly the game was in the melting pot but a long ball from Wa was chased down by Terry Jardine wo scored from the edge of the box to win the game and put Wa into the semis. Palmerston Colts moved into the Quarter Finals after a tight game against Youth United. The teams went in at half time level before Ally Mason scored twice from free kicks to seal the game. In the Metrik Office Premier the only game of the day saw Nithside go third in the table with a solid win at home to Loreburn. Nithside started strongly and lead 3-0 at half time, Loreburn were stronger in the second half but Nithside saw the game out in the end. Michael McGhie and Thomas Nicolson both got doubles for Nithside as well as a goal from Corrie Henderson, Reece Brown and Paul Hair scoring for Loreburn. Terregles slipped up in their first division title push as they dropped points against Ruthwell in a 3-3 draw. David Marshall, Lewis Klose and Murray Thompson scoring for Terregles whilst Mike Young, Josh Adams and Jack Ball scored for the visitors giving Normandy a clear cut chance of the title and they cruised past Summerhill winning well. Cammy Sinclair hit a first half hat-trick for Normandy, Paul Hastings scored twice as well as goals from Jack Loudon, Kris Shannon, Dylan Irvine and Jordan Patterson. Greens Park and Dumfries will both be kicking themselves after sharing 8 goals. Greens raced into a 2-0 lead only to suddenly find themselves 3-2 behind. Greens then equalised before Dumfries seemed to ave won the game very late on. With the last kick of the game though Robbie Simpson calmy finished past the keeper. e kick after Jonny Riddick and Cairn Jamieson had given Greens an early lead. Graham Woodward scored twice in second half for Dumfries whilst Liam Watson and Stuart Wright had scored in the first half for Dumfries. Final game of the day saw an Annan derby and FC Annans rise continues as they won comfortably in the end. James Jardine and Mark Leesing Snr gave FC Annan a half time lead, James Reid scored in the second half to make sure of local bragging rights.
