Moffat survive scare to make cup progress.

Moffat were given a scare when they visited Annan Town Development going a goal down when Ashleigh Maxwell gave them the lead for half time. Moffat regrouped and eventually took control of the game with 3 goals but Annan Development scored in the dying moments again through Ashleigh Maxwell but it proved to little too late. Palmerston Colts moved into the next round with a convincing win against Normandy Star, Colts lead 3-0 at half time through strikes from Craig Kerr(2) Andy Gilston, Andrew Gilston scored in the second half. In the Heathhall Garden Centre Trophy Hole in Wa won comfortably against Black Bull Joe Jardne rounded the keeper to open the scoring on 25 minutes, Dale Talaszko then smashed in an effort minutes later to give Wa breathing space. 2 further goals in the second half to see Wa progress. Nitside and FC Annan was always going to be a hard game to call with Nithside winning in the end. Thomas Nicholson with a double for the hosts as well as strikes from Mike McGhie, Lee Taylor, Sean Potts and Stevie Little. Mark Leesing Snr, John Campbell and Chris Norval for FC Annan. Summerhill put up a good show but Terregles proved too strong on the day winning with goals from David Marshall, Jack Wilson and Chris Woods. In the Metrik Office First Division Ruthwell layed seige at times to Greens Parks goal but only had the one goal to show for their efforts but it was enough to take the points, James Johnston with the games only goal. Youth visited Dumfries and won comfortably through goals from Darrell Klose, Shaun Kirk and Islam Kadyrov all in the first 11 minutes. Liam Watson then scored for Dumfries before Ben Dempster scored again for Youth United.
