Palmerston Colts travelled to Kelloholm with a Challenge cup final spot at stake, and it was the Dumfries side who drew first blood with an Ally Mason strike after some sustained early pressure. The home side roared back though and were awarded a penalty, though the spot kick was saved Robert O'Connor was first to react and level matters. Kelloholm then began to believe they could win the game and they did so thanks to goals from Alex Boyle and Keiron O'Connor. They will find out who they face in the final as the second semi is played between Hole in the Wa and Moffat Thistle after Moffat squeezed past Black Bull Rovers by the odd goal in five. Black Bull had been two nil in frontbut Moffat fought back thanks to a brace from Nicky Frame and a Ewan McGlynn effort which put them in front, Black Bull had a chance to take the match to extra time but saw an 87th minute penalty saved. In the Heathhall Garden Centre Trophy Five Arches were also made to work against First Division opposition, with a fine solo effort from Robbie Simpson putting Greens Park in front after ten minutes, Bombers were level five minutes later as David Bradbury made no mistake from the penalty spot. Bombers had chances to go in front but it looked like extra time until Chris Ross popped up five minutes from time to send Five Arches through. Also winners in the cup were Annan Town, though their progress against Scaur seemed a little more comfortable, with Brian Mattinson scoring six goals, sandwiched between the opener from Liam Grimley and a strike from Alan Milligan. There was one league match which saw Youth United put a huge dent in Terregles title hopes with a 2-1 win over the leaders. Terregles had scored first through Euan Francis but Youth fought back and levelled with a strike from Islam Kadyrov before Ben Dempster struck to take all three points.
