Astonishing comeback at Galabank

The league cup semi final line up is complete, Morton Youth won through to face Hole in the Wa after seeing off Scaur with aplomb. Stefan Tate beat two men to open the scoring and Jordan Barker added a second for Youth with a long range strike before the break, then Islam Kadyrov fired another from outside the box before Jordan Barker hit his second screamer to wrap up the win. Annan Town booked a semi date with Palmerston Colts after they edged a tight match with Normandy Star. Annan had a mountain to climb after a pre match injury to their goalkeeper, but stand in Iain Cameron put in a man of the match performance as Shaun Bell and Mark Rogerson were on target, with Willie Beattie responding for Star. There was an astonishing game at Galabank where Park Thistle came from behind to beat FC Annan 7-6, Park opened the scoring on the quarter hour mark through Jordan Gilmour but Annan levelled ten minutes later through Rikki Ogilvie, then goals in the 34th, 35th and 36th minutes from Mark Leesing Jnr, Chris Norval and Rikki Ogilvie had Annan cruising. Park rallied Quinn Rogerson smashed home to make it 4-2. On 70 minutes Mark Leesing grabbed his second and then with only ten minutes left Brady Irving made it 6-2; but Jordan Gilmour smashed in a third for Park with 5 minutes left and when Laurie Reid burst down the right a couple of minutes later to cross for Robbie Simpson to add a fourth Park tails were up. Time was running out but Jordan Gilmour completed his hat trick to make it 6-5 and then Park looked to have rescued a point as Jordan Gilmour bagged his fourth of the match to equalise. In stoppage time though Annan had a penalty claim but had to settle for a corner, which almost gave them the winner bur Andy Baird cleared off the line and set up a counter which saw Robbie Simpson round the goalkeeper and slot home an unlikely winner to send Park into raptures. Five Arches Bombers lead the way in the First Division thanks to a fifteen goal thumping of Black Bull, Duncan Smith helping himself to five to also top the scoring charts, David Bradbury and Rowan McGill hit doubles and Chris Ross, Ross Edwards, Thomas Coles, Graham Jamieson and John Hunt along with an OG accounted for the other goals. Loreburn also made it two wins from two with Rees Brown, Lee Taylor and two goals from Jonny Murray as well as Andrew Drysdale and Dean Murray scoring to see off Summerhill whos counters came from Jamie Kimm and Ryan Harper. Ruthwell Rovers made it back to back draws as they held Dumfries Athletic. Paul Otway had Ruthwell in front twice but Kyle McQueen and Keenan Moss earned a point for Dumfries. Palmerston Colts are setting the pace in the Premier, they hit double figures from the visit of Kelloholm. Darren Kerr hit a hat trick with Darren Tait and Craig Kerr both grabbing braces and Greig Lawrie and Bryce Fraser pitching in alongside a screamer from Jai Harkness. Kelloholm hit a consolation courtesy of Grant Rennie. Hole in the Wa maintain their winning start as Terry Jardine and Joe Jardine scored either side of an Eddie Marshall double to put Nithside to the sword. Moffat Thistle also made it two from two as they scored five without reply against Queens Bar. Niki Frame, Dale Talszko, Adam Kerr and Julian Mills were on target along with an OG.
