Hole in the Wa continued their blistering start to the season and set out a notice of intent in the league as they smashed twelve unanswered goals past Kelloholm Arms, Kelloholm have endured a tricky start to the campaign and their task was made even harder when they were reduced to ten men early on, even so they held firm until the 22nd minute when Mikey Devlin broke the deadlock. Five minutes before the interval Sean Peat raced on to a Mark Milligan through ball to add a second and on the stroke of half time Sean grabbed his second. Kelloholm were defending manfully but were breached again on 55 minutes, this time Kieran Murray was the scorer, and on the hour mark Sean Peat headed home his third goal. The last ten minutes of the match was a goal frenzy, with Mark Milligan netting before Sean Peat grabbed another, then set up his brother Craig to make it eight. As Kelloholm were hoping for the final whistle Eddie Marshall got on the scoresheet and Sean Peat added his fifth and sixth before Bruce McQuarrie rounded off the scoring. Palmerston Colts also made it three wins from three in the league as Craig Kerr, Steven Walker and Ryan Gilmore had them three up on Queens Bar by halftime. Paul Trainor reduced the arrears in the second period as Queens looked to get back in the match but Steven Walker added two more to complete his hat trick. Alister Baird grabbed a second for Queens Bar but Jai Harkness wrapped up the scoring for Palmerston. Moffat Thistle also maintained a 100% league start thanks to A Niki Frame brace and goals from David Avery, Justin Borthwick and Aiden Wallace. Morton Youth replied with two well struck long range efforts through Stefan Tate and Shaun Kirk. Normandy Star picked up their first win back in the top flight with a Jordan Nish double and goals from Jack Ogston and Scott Learmont enough to earn the points against Nithside who scored through Mark McGhie and Sean Potts. Five Arches Bombers lead the way in the First Division as they fought past Summerhill by four goals to one. Duncan Smith scored the only goal of a tight first half, and added another ten minutes into the second. Thomas Coles made it three five minutes later and Greg Rice smashed home a volley for the fourth. Summerhill did get a consolation with a last minute spot kick converted by Jamie Kimm. FC Annan picked up their first points and inflicted Loreburn Thistles first defeat, John Campbell grabbed two first half goals both from Chris Norval passes and then Campbell turned provider for Mark Leesing jnr. Jhn Campbell completed his hat trick from the spot before Mark Leesing snr set up Mark Leesing jnr for Annans fifth. Lee Taylor pulled one back for Loreburn but Annan saw the game out and Martin Candlish completed the scoring. Dumfries Athletic opened the scoring at Park Thistle, as Stuart Wight pounced to fire home in the opening minutes, but Robbie Simpson soon levelled for Park as he was brought down and stepped up to score from the penalty spot and with half time approaching Robbie grabbed a second to fire Park ahead. Both sides hit the woodwork in an evenly contested second half but the last word went to Robbie Simpson who picked up the ball on the half way line from a throw in and drove at the Dumfries defence to complete his hat trick. Draws are rare in Amateur football, but Ruthwell Rovers have managed three on the bounce. After goalless first half Jonny Riddick raced down the right and provided a neat finish to break the deadlock, then Black Bull roared back, levelling through Greg Scott then going ahead courtesy of Matty Donagher. A thumping drive from Owen Brown levelled the match again and Jonny Riddick then score a carbon copy of his first which looked to have given Ruthwell all three points until a deflected clearance was headed over the Rovers keeper by Matty Donagher to earn Black Bull their first point of the season.
