Moffat Thistle continued their stranglehold on the Premier summit, but were made to work for the three points at Kelloholm. A missed penalty for the home side allowed Moffat to take control with goals from Jamie Wylie, Stefan Jackson and Kevin Jack, a late consolation from the spot was buried by Robert O'Connor for Kelloholm. Nithside moved up to second with an impressive victory over Hole in the Wa. The Wa started brightly but couldn't make the breakthrough and Nithside went ahead on the half hour through Scott Muir, and made it two within five minutes courtesy of Thomas Nicholson. A third goal from Michael McGhie early in the second half left the Wa with a mountain to climb, but a Bruce McQuarrie strike then a header from Nicky Paton gave them hope before a 90th minute thunderbolt from Sean Potts sealed the win for Nithside. Morton Youth moved up to third and put a dent in Annan Towns title challenge with a cracking win. An Islam Kadyrov double, a Jordan Barker goal and a hat trick from Shaun Kirk gave Morton the win, John Quinn bagging a brace for Annan in reply. A cracking encounter between Palmerston Colts and Scaur saw the Penpont side come out on top. Scaur controlled the first half with Chris Cloy and Matt Coleman both hitting doubles, Greig Lawrie replied for Palmerston. The second half saw the Colts on top but despite Ryan Gilmore and Craig Kerr netting they fell just short of rescuing a point. In the first division Five Arches Bombers took another step towards returning to the Premier as they breezed past FC Annan. The Bombers were five up in the first twenty minutes thanks to a Graeme Maxwell double, Chris Ross, Duncan Smith and Russell Handley, Annan stemmed the flow and pulled a goal back before half time through John Campbell. Mark Leesing jnr scored to give Annan hope of a come back but it was quickly snuffed out as Graeme Maxwell completed his hattrick. Mark Leesing snr then scored for Annan but Bombers added two more through Graame Jamieson and Greg Rice. Dumfries Athletic came out on top in a high scoring encounter with Black Bull Rovers. Liam Watson top scored with four but Keenan Moss also chipped in a hat trick and Cain McKie, Wayne Petrie and Lewis Lamb as well as a trialist added to the tally. Black Bull had levelled the match at 1-1 and 2-2 early on but were unable to match free scoring Dumfries. Summerhill came back from Clarencefield with three hard earned points. Ruthwell went ahead through Tony Power before Chris Watson struck twice to put Summerhill ahead but Volcan Yildiz pounced to send the sides in level. Two more Chris Watson goals and an Own Goal in the second half were enough to earn the visitors victory. Park Thistle face Loreburn Thistle at Kingholm, the game started on a heavy pitch and with the rain falling constantly it began to lie and the referee had no alternative but to abandon the game after an hour with no complaints from either side.
