Our two remaining sides in the National Trophy were again on the road and both succumbed to narrow defeats. Normandy Star were ahead three times at Raploch Hearts through Mark Cravens and a Jack Ogston double but the home side pegged them back each time and eventually got their noses in front with a late goal to break Normandy hearts. Moffat Thistle also lost out on the road as they gave everything against Lauders but lost out 4-2. In domestic duty the line up for the Harkness Plumbing and Heating Trophy final was decided. Palmerston Colts will be hoping to go one better in this tournament after losing out in the League Cup Final and goals from Josh Gilston and Liam Malcolm had them in front against Scaur. The Colts were reduced to ten and Scaur fought back, scoring through Robert O'Connor to reduce the deficit but Palmerston held on to go through. Nithside will provide the final opponents as they saw off Five Arches Bombers by a more comfortable scoreline. Mark McGhie and Thomas Nicholson both hot braces with Michael McGhie and Scott Muir also on target. Greg Rice provided the consolation for the Bombers. On the league front, Hole in the Wa had a chance to close the gap on Moffat at the top, but were held to a draw by Morton Youth. Morton scored the only goal of the fist half and held the lead until the 83rd minute when Joe Jardine fed top scorer Sean Peat to earn a point. Kelloholm Arms travelled to Annan and put in a spirited performance but were unable to take anything from the game as Shaun Bell scored the only goal of the game for the home side to leave help them claw their way up the table.
