Semi line up decided

The Doonhamer Bistro League Cup Semi Finals will be an all Premier division affair after Ruthwell were beaten by Annan Town with goals from Iain Cameron, Ashleigh Maxwell, Carl Crosbie, John Campbell and Mark Rogerson and FC Annan bowed out to Scaur despite Jimmy Reid and Jamie Nixon netting, and hitting the bar at 3-2 down, an Ellis McLaughlin hat trick and strike from Shaun Wood saw Scaur through. They will face Palmerston Colts in the Semis after Darren Monteith bagged four goals against Nithside, and Axl Menlove also scored while Thomas Nicholson, Jordan Barker and Sean Kirk were on target for Nithside. Five Arches Bombers make up the Semi line up after edging out Normandy Star thanks to an overhead kick from Graeme Kirkpatrick. There was also league action and Moffat Thistle edged a five goal thriller over Hole in the Wa, Adam Kerr and Damon Campbell had Moffat two up before a double from Islam Kadyrov levelled the match but a late winner from Adam Henderson saw Moffat take full points. Dumfries went two nil up on Morton Youth with Ali Baird and Ewan McLellan scoring, Morton pulled one back before Cain McKie made it 3-1 but Morton rallied with two more to earn a point. In the first Division Kelloholm recorded a morale boosting win as they knocked Sands for Seven. Doubles for Kieran O'Connor and Colin Bell as well as goals for Adam Hughes and Sandy King gave the home side their best result for a couple of seasons. Finally Queens Bar went top of the division with a good win over Park Thistle, Rees Brown put Queens ahead before Dougie Rae levelled but a second for Rees Brown and a late free kick from Mark McGhie gave Queens victory.
