Moffat Thistle were confirmed as back to back Premier champions last midweek despite being held to a draw by Palmerston Colts. Kevin Jack and Roddy Carlyle had Moffat two up before Craig Kerr pulled one back for the Colts and Jamie Grey grabbed an equaliser to leave Moffat looking for Five Arches to drop points at Nithside. Nithside scored first at the Holm Park but Graham Jamieson levelled and Jack Ogston put Bombers ahead. Nithside then levelled the match and got their noses in front again, handing the title to Moffat. Goals were raining in at Hospital Park where Normandy Star hit double figures, with Michael McGhie adding seven to his haul for the season, Mark Cravens bagging a brace and Tommy Goss also on target, Scaur also pitched in with a Robert Menzies hat trick and double for Ellis McLachlan. Dale Talaszko scored twice and Islam Kadyrov also netted for Hole in the Wa in their midweek win over Morton and both players scored again on Sunday along with Eddie Marshall, with Callum Saunders, Julian Mills and a late Jamie Wylie goal for Moffat Thistle sending their cup tie to penalties where the Wa held their nerve to win through. Dumfries Athletic suffered two 3-1 defeats, in the league at the hands of Annan Town thanks to a John Campbell hat trick despite Corey Wells finding the net, and on Sunday they went three down to First Division Queens Bar and a second half goal from Ewan McLellan wasn't enough to spark a comeback. FC Annan have hit a bump since sealing the First division; a midweek draw at Ruthwell with Brian Anderson and Martin McKeeman cancelling out goals from Jamie Robson and Ryan Johnstone was followed by a cup exit to Summerhill on Sunday. Liam Watson netted twice for the Hill and Kyle Gallacher and Jamie Coulter were also on target, with Chris Norval and Mark Leesing scoring for Annan. Five Arches bounced back from their league disappointment to progress in yet another cup competition. They went ahead through Greame Maxwell but Ben Turner pulled Ruthwell level before late goals from Duncan Smith and Tam Coles saw the Bombers through. Scaur also recovered from their midweek loss as goals from Matt Thomson, Craig Stitt, Rab Menzies and Gary Crosbie were enough to see off Sands who responded through Argyle Smith. Nithside also eased through after a tough match with Kelloholm. Anton MacKay scoring twice and Thomas Nicholson also on target while James Brown scored for the visitors. The last cup tie was a cracker, in what has become an enthralling rivalry this season, with Normandy Star this time edging out Palmerston Colts with goals from Tommy Goss and Aaron Halliday while Darren Monteith scored for Palmerston.
