Five Arches extended their unbeaten start and their lead at the top of the table despite being held to a goalless draw by Moffat Thistle while Hole in the Wa climbed two spots as the only team in the top half to win on Sunday, as they smashed ten past Dumfries Athletic. Wa opened the scoring on 5 minutes through Islam Kadyrov and an own goal a minute later doubled their lead, Dumfries held out for half an hour til Islam made it three and Murray Thompson added a fourth before half time.Islam then completed his hat-trick, and grabbed another before setting up Allan Hunter to make it seven, Islam made it eight before Allan Lamb slotted home a penalty for Dumfries, but Islam then set up Terry Traynor and had time to bring up double figures with his sixth goal of the game before the end. Nithside got their stuttering season going by impressively taking Scaurs unbeaten league record. Matt Coleman had opened the scoring for Scaur and Kieran Hair had made it 2.1 but two goals each for Thomas Nicholson, Michael McGhie and Jack Louden and a single for Shaun Kirk gave Nithside the points. FC Annan and Summerhill shared four goals, with Jimmy Reid and Kyle Gallacher on target for the home side and a Colin Coulter brace for the Hill earning a point. Crichton had a Michael Murray Hat-trick to thank for their win over Riverside who responded with goals from Luke Broadhurst and Jonny Richardson. Finally Ruthwell took the points at Normandy Star, after a goalless 80 minutes Josh Davidson fired Ruthwell in front and a couple of minutes later Kris Robson added a second, Normandy responded through Dougie Rae but there was no time for an equaliser.
