The title race took another twist on Sunday as Annan Town upset the current leaders Hole in the Wa by five goals to four. The Wa were ahead
after five minutes when Eddie McKeand headed home from a corner but Annan levelled ten minutes later as John Campbell converted a penalty, and five minutes later the same player put Annan ahead. A second penalty on the stroke of half time put Annan further ahead and just after the interval John Campbell added his and Annan's fourth goal. A fifth came before the hour mark as Dale Muir netted. Islam Kadyrov pulled one back for the Wa and Eddie McKeand and Dale Talaszko scored within a minute of eachother to set up a tense last ten, but Annan held out for the win. Scaur travelled to Normandy Star and opened the scoring on ten minutes through Kieran Hair, and Ross Lockhart added a second before twenty minutes were played. Normandy settled into the match and the next goals was going to prove crucial. It took til the 75th minute to come though as substitute Leigh Hyslop pounced to put Scaur firmly in control, he added a second and Kieran Hair also completed his brace with the last kick of the game. Nithside hosted Ruthwell and were only one up at half time through Stefan Tate, but took control in the second half as Sandy Kennedy, Arthur MacAdam, Michael McGhie and Robbie Simpson all added to the score. Morton Thistle hosted Dumfries Athletic and the visitors opened the scoring through Callum Jess before Ross Coupland levelled but Andy Linden scored to give Dumfries the narrowest of victories. Five Arches Bombers continued their cup progress as they breezed past Crichton with Dayne Moore scoring twice, Stewart Cobban, Kendo Dinnel, Shaun Kevan and Gary White all scoring and Graham Maxwell bagging a late hat trick to complete the rout.
