Another change at the top

Five Arches Bombers went back to the top of the table with a professional performance against Riverside. Graham Maxwell bagged a hat trick with doubles from Callum Rankine and Graeme Jamieson were added to by Stephen McDill and Duncan Smith. Nithside were also in fine form as they kept their focus on catching the leaders, Robbie Simpson scored three and Michael McGhie two, with Tyrell Wilson scoring his first of the season and Sandy Kennedy also on target as they condemend Dumfries Athletic to the bottom half after the split. Palmerston Colts were on cup duty and ruthless against Ruthwell Rovers. With Ross Kerr opening the scoring, Jordan Barker and Craig Kerr both scoring twice and Darren Kerr converting a penalty, The match between Hole in the Wa and Annan Town was finely poised until an injury to John Campbell stopped paly and led to an abandonment. Everyone involved in the league would like to wish John a speedy recovery.
