Scaur ease into second

Scaur reach the halfway stage in the league campaign a single point from the top of the league as a fine performance saw them earn a five one win over Annan Town.. Goals from Drife Finlay, Kieran Hair, Shaun Wood and Matty Thomson as well as an own goal gave them victory, with Daniel Carey netting a consolation for the visitors. Moffat Thistle climbed from seventh to fourth as they eventually saw off a stubborn FC Annan side. An even first half saw Nathan Moore net twice for Annan, but Aiden Wallace and Adam Henderson scored for Moffat to send the sides in level. FC Annan were reduced to ten men and Moffat took control as Adam Henderson completed his hat trick and Jon Muir, Julian Mills, Niki Frame and Callum Saunders all added to the scoreline. With FC Annan losing 8th place was up for grabs as Ruthwell Rovers hosted Morton Thistle. A first half brace fro Rees Brown put Morton in charge but Ruthwell rallied after the break, with Luca Pagani pulling one back, Ethan Black levelling and Ryan Power giving the home side the win.
