The weekends matches were all incredibly close affairs, with the cup tie between Hole in the Wa and Annan Town going all the way to penalties. Dale Muir had Annan in front on the half hour but Davey Paterson nodded home an equaliser before the break and Kris Shannon converted a penalty to put Wa ahead early in the second half. Ashleigh Maxwell hit a cracking equaliser with half an hour to play but there was no further scoring. Hole in the Wa then missed their first two penalties before scoring four straight to win through. Palmerston Colts overcame the high winds and an organised Crichton Campus defence as Scott Learmont and Jack Wilson found the net in a two nil win to put Colts four points off the top. Nithside climbed two spots with an excellent win at Moffat Thistle. Robbie Simpson and Michael McGhie scored for Nithside with Aiden Wallace netting for the home side. Normandy Star picked up their first points of the season after a hard fought win over Riverside. Dale Bower put Star in front early before Riverside levelled. Arran McCutcheon then restored the lead with a looping header and Guy O'Brien hit a long range effort to make it 3-1. Riverside rallied in the second half pulling one back and then levelling direct from a corner kick. Normandy refused to give up on the win they needed and Kieron Crosbie made no mistake from the spot to earn all three points. A tight match at Clarencefield saw Ruthwell and Summerhill cancel eachother out for much of the game before Ryan Gilmour popped up with ten to play to secure the win for Summerhill. Another single goal victory at Maryfield as Lewis Lamb and Kieron Murray had Dumfries Athletic two up before goals either side of half time through Joe Burton and David Stairmand had Morton Thistle level. Andrew Linden was the matchwinner for Dumfries.
