Town take Annan honours

The freezing weather put paid to almost the entire Sunday League fixture card at the weekend bar the Annan Derby which was played om the artificial surface at Galabank. FC Annan were desperate for a morale boosting result but Annan Town were in no mood to be charitable to their neighbours. Daniel Carey helped himself to a hat-trick, Dale Muir added two more to his tally for the season and Liam Grimley, Dion Irving, Billy Sutherland and Danny Lockerby were all on target while Jimmy Reid netted a consolation for FC Annan.
