The top two went head to head a week after going all the way to penalties in the cup semi final. It was Hole in the Wa who drew first blood as a quick throw out from the keeper following a corner caught the Bombers defence out of position and Kris Shannon was on hand to fire home. It only took two minutes for Five Arches to level though as Kenni Dinnel made no mistake from the penalty spot. The two sides played some great football but largely cancelled eachother out with another draw looking likely Eddie Marshall popped up in the last minute to earn all three points and send the Wa top. Palmerston Colts fine season continued as they made another cup final with a fantastic performance away to Moffat Thistle. A Jordan Barker double and strike from Aaron Callendar set up another final date with Five Arches Bombers. The other Premier tie saw Nithside leapfrog Annan Town in the table with a Michael McGhie hat trick and Robbie Simpson netting to win the points despite Dale Muir and Billy Sutherland scoring for the home side. In the First Division Summerhill missed the chance to go top despite going 3-1 up against Crichton. Mitchell McGregor, Ross Finlater and Mark Murray seemed to have secured the win but after Alan Milligans opener, Mark Carruthers reduced the arrears and a Chris Bailey brace put Crichton in front. Paul McDowall also scored to wrap up a win for the Campus team. Normandy Star were ahead at Ruthwell as Kenny Meader scored from the spot but Rovers turned things round with a Luca Pagani double before the break. Jerzy Grezebniak levelled the match on 75 minutes and Kieron Crosbie put Normandy in front again with a penalty with ten minutes to play. Ryan Power netted direct from a corner to level the match again and in stoppage time netted his second to earn all three points for the home team. A thrilling match at Holm Park saw Morton Thistle and Riverside share eight goals. Morton scorers were Paul Errington with 2, Rees Brown and David Stairmand. Riverside had a Luke Broadhurst brace, Arron Jackson and Stuart Dalgliesh.
