Palmerston Colts are within touching distance of the Premier title as they were in imperious form against Annan Town. A solitary Ellis McLachlan effort had Colts in front at the break and a second half Darren Kerr hat trick, strike from Craig Kerr, brace for Liam Malcolm and a bullet header from Mark Cravens put Annan to the sword despite a consolation goal from Connor Garner. Five Arches Bombers still maintain slim hopes of wresting the title away, a fine 4.0 win at Moffat thanks to a Duncan Smith treble and a goal from Kenni Dinnell leave them five points behind Palmerston with two games to play. FC Annan picked up a morale boosting victory after a difficult season as they heaped misery onto Nithside. Chris McMenamin, Bradley James, Jimmy Reid and Callum Grieve were on target for the home side with Thomas Nicholson, Michael McGhie and Brad Henderson netting for Nithside. Ruthwell Rovers could have jumped to second in the First Division as they faced Morton Thistle. Edward Kwok had Morton ahead midway through the first half before Luca Pagani levelled for Rovers. Paul Errington grabbed a quickfire hat-trick and Rees Brown added a late fifth to give Morton a moral boosting win.
