Dumfries Athletic hosted Five Arches Bombers, with the winners knowing they would go top of the table as Terregles were on Scottish Cup duty. Dumfries roared into a two goal lead as Andy Linden netted twice. Graham Maxwell pulled one back from the spot for the Bombers before half time, and Kenni Dinnel levelled things in the second half. Both teams had chances to win the game but looked like having to settle for a point until Graham Kilpatrick earned all three points for Five Arches late on. Terregles Scottish Cup destiny is unknown as their opponents called their scheduled match off, but our other representatives Scaur bowed out with a three nil home loss to Broxburn. Morton Thistle are up to third in the table as a Reece Howe strike and a double from trialist Kieran Kenny was enough for a narrow win over Ruthwell who had Owen Brown and Callum Sloan on the scoresheet. Hole in the Wa travelled to Annan and also won 3-2 with and Adam Henderson brace and Julian Mills on target while an OG and Danny Carey accounted for the Annan goals. Palmerston Colts continued their revival as Brad Henderson and two goals from Darren Watson put Riverside to the sword. The final match saw Gretna travel to Normandy Star, with the home side going in front with two goals from Mark Carruthers in the opening five minutes. Gretna pulled one back but two quickfire Luke Broadhurst goals had Star cruising before a quarter of an hour was played. Ben Gillon and Ryan Harper both netted for Normandy and Luke and Mark completed first half hat-tricks. Mark Carruthers then added his fourth in the second half and Ryan Melvin brought up double figures.
