Annan Town eased into their second cup final of the season but it took extra time for them to get past holders Hole in the Wa. The Wa were in front when Corrie Davies headed home a corner on the quarter hour mark, and they held the lead until the 67th minute when Liam Grimley equalised and when Mikey Thomson put them ahead five minutes from time it looked good for Annan but the Wa fought back and Kieran Kenny scored in stoppage time to send the tie to extra time. Billy Sutherland put Annan in front again from a free kick and they held on to go through. They will face Scaur who needed a late thunderbolt from Matt Thomson to see off a stubborn Ruthwell Rovers in a tight semi final. Threave Development picked up three good points in a cracking match with Terregles. A hattrick from Callum Rennie, brace for Finlay Whalen and Lloyd Pipe strike gave Threave the win despite a Dempsey Rowan treble and goals for Gary White and Josh Jamieson for Terregles. FC Annan went two up against Palmerston Colts with Sandy Picken and Chris Nelson on target. Darren Watson scored twice to level and Liam Malcolm put Colts ahead for the first time. Martin McKeeman equalised for Annan before Darren Watson completed his hattrick. Callum Grieve squared the match again before a late Jordan Williamson penalty gave Palmerston all three points. Another tight match saw Joseph Marshall equalise twice for Greystone Rovers, but Ally Queen, Kieron Nicoll and a late Dayne Moore strike saw Five Arches Bombers take all three points. Lochside Club were the only team to win by more than one goal at the weekend. Josh Cochrane opened the scoring, and Codey Ferguson doubled their lead in the first half. Reece Irving made it three before Ryan Harper pulled one back for Normandy Star but a late goal from Pacey Ho gave Lochside an impressive win.
