Annan on the goal trail

A cracking match at Maryfield saw Kieron Kenny fire Hole in the Wa ahead before Sam Rowe levelled from Dumfries Athletic. A second half strike from Andy Linden edged Dumfries in front and despite their best efforts the Wa couldn't find an equaliser and Dumfries picked up three valuable points. The other matches all went to script, with the top four all winning. A John Campbell hattrick and brace for Billy Sutherland as well as Mikey Thomson, Andy Shannon and Daniel Carey goals gave leaders Annan another win at the expense of Scaur.

Ruthwell stayed third but were made to work for the win. Dion Irving and Brady Irving scored as Eastriggs came close to an upset but Jon Muir, Logan Dixon and Iain Pringle gave Ruthwell the victory. Axl Menlove had Terregles in front after 45 seconds against Normandy Star but it was only two nil at half time with Gary Whyte adding the second. Both players scored again in the second half and Allan Hunter, Stevie Green and Nathan Cannon all pitched in for a comprehensive win. At Dalbeatiie Ross Stevenson and a Greig Lawrie double was enough for Palmerston Colts to pick up the points against Threave Development.
