Good win for Greystone

Amateur football was back after the extended winter break and it was business as usual for Annan Town with John Campbell opening the scoring, Billy Sutherland pitching in with a brace and Andy Shannon making it four against Threave Development. Palmerston Colts kept up the chase with Arron Callander giving hem the lead against Dumfries Athletic but the game was finely balanced until a late Darren Watson penalty secured the win for the Colts. There was another good win for Greystone Rovers who picked up three points at Lockerbie. Marcus Zygaldo gave them the lead before Luca Pagani levelled but Owen Halliday and Olli Cairnie had Greystone in charge. Ryan Power gave Ruthwell hope of a comeback but Josh McVinnie restored the cushion and Greystone saw out the victory.

Lochside Club also picked up three points on the road as a Josh Cochrane hattrick and Diesel Ferguson gave them the win at Eastriggs. There was another treble at Penpont as Ross Lockhart took the match ball and Robert McCormack was also on the scoresheet as Scaur swept FC Annan aside. Five Arches Bombers also shutout Normandy Star and goals from Graham Maxwell, Russell Handley and Chris Ross gave them the win. The final match at Holm Park saw a seven goal thriller between Hole in the Wa and Terregles. Mikey Green put Terregles ahead early, but an own goal levelled the scoreline before Mikey Green then John Howie and Nathan Cannon seemed to put Terregles out of touch. The Wa had other ideas though and Sean Peat then Dale Talazsko found the net to set up a grandstand finish but Terregles held on to the points to climb to fourth.
