Lochside looking up

Impressive back to back wins have got Lochside Club looking up the table with a hattrick from Diesel Ferguson giving them all three points against Scaur who had Finlay Currie on the scoresheet. Hole in the Wa also climbed a place as they put Greystone Rovers to the sword despite going behind to an early own goal. Kieran Kenny levelled with a header and Sean Peat scored twice, sandwiching a Joseph Marshall equaliser for Greystone. Michael McGhie scored the first of his hattrick and Danny Bryson scored on the stroke of half time to kill the game as a contest, Mark Carruthers and Joshua Barnard added their names to the scoresheet as the Wa ran out comfortable winners.

Terregles edged a seven goal thriller against Five Arches Bombers, with Dempsey Rowan and Stevie Green scoring two apiece, while Duncan Smith also hit two for the Bombers and Graham Kilpatrick also found the net. Dumfries Athletic picked up an important win at Threave Development, Sam Rowe netted four times in the first half before Callum Rennie scored for Threave, but goals from Andy Linden and Cameron McDougall saw them leapfrog Threave in the table. The Annan derby was played in Gretna, with FC Annan taking the lead through Stuart Dalgliesh before Town took control and two goals from John Campbell, Chris Norval and Grant Schoolar gave them breathing space at the top.
