The League Cup semi final line up was completed at the weekend with Terregles winning through to face Scaur after seeing off Normandy Star in a cracking game. A Dempsey Rowan double and John Howie goal had Terregles 3-0 up but a Ryan Harper brace pulled Normandy back into the match. Matt Gibson gave Terregles breathing space before Ian Christine pulled another back, but Nathan Cannon sealed the tie for Terregles. The other semi will be Palmerston Colts against Annan Town after the Colts went three up against Ruthwell with Brad Henderson, Jordan Williamson and Darren Watson scoring, Iain Pringle netted a late consolation for Ruthwell.

Annan Town had a Daniel Carey hattrick and Billy Sutherland goal to thank for easing past Greystone Rovers whose goals came from Marcus Zygaldo and Lauchlan McCormack. In the League, Five Arches went back to the top but dropped points at Scaur despite going two nil up through Graham Maxwell and Chris Ross, Scaur earned a point with Sam Kelly and Shaun Wood netting for their fifth draw in nine league matches. FC Annan earned their second point of the season as an outstanding goalkeeping display from Malcolm McEwan frustrated Dumfries Athletic. Chris Nelson had FC Annan in front but Andy Linden finally beat the keeper to earn a point for Dumfries. A highly entertaining match at Holm Park saw Hole in the Wa edge out Threave Development in a nine goal thriller. Sean Peat scored twice for the Wa but Rory Carrol and Jamie Nish netted to send the sides in level. Danny Bryson and Michael McGhie restored the Wa lead and Finlay Whalen and McAuley Rennie pulled Threave level again before Sean Peat completed his hattrick earn the Wa all three points. Lochside heaped more misery on Eastriggs with Diesel Ferguson helping himself to a treble, Arron Jackson bagging a brace and Ryan Melvin, Logan Dunlop, Declan Roper and Lee Graham all getting on the scoresheet.
