Ruthwell came to Hospital Park for this cup tie looking to avenge a league defeat last weekend. Normandy went behind last week but started much quicker and after only two minutes Robbie burst into the box and was upended. Kieron stepped up to smash the penalty into the roof of the net. With only 5 minutes gone Jerzy was tripped in the box, and Kenny slotted home the penalty despite the keeper getting a hand on it. A couple of minutes later Luke played in Jerzy, with the keeper making a good save and Robbie heading just over from the corner. The third did come on 15 minutes as Dean won a header from a corner and the ball dropped to Luke who half volleyed through a mass of defenders and into the corner of goal. A minute later it was four as Luke broke down the left, cut inside and squared for Robbie to tap in. On 24 minutes Jerzy played a ball over the top to Luke who rounded the keeper and made it five. The sixth came on the half hour mark as Arran won the ball and played in Luke who cut inside and completed his hat trick. The game was over as a contest but Ruthwell continued to look dangerous on the break and Grant was forced into a few saves to maintain his clean sheet. A raft of changes disrupted the game but Normandy added a seventh. Jerzy this time assisted Gadget who controlled with one touch and scored with his second. Just before full time Jerzy got another assist as he broke down the right and crossed to Kieron who smashed home his second and Normandys eighth.
