Normandy Star 0 Palmerston Colts 1

Normandy hosted unbeaten Colts, the last time these two met there was a single goal between them and another tight match was expected. A bright start from Star saw them push the Colts back and Harper had the ball in the net on the quarter hour from Jamie's cross but the referee decided he was offside. Harper and James were enjoying some success down the wings but the Palmerston defense was physical and stood firm, with the goalkeeper also pulling off some fine stops to keep Star at bay. Palmerston showed more intent in the second half and Rab was in good form when called upon. As the game progressed a stalemate looked more certain until an 87th minutes throw-in on the left and the Colts striker sent a drive towards goal, it flicked off the leg of a defender and looped over Rab for a heartbreaking winner.
