Eastriggs visited hospital park, but they were sure to be a different proposition from last season and provide a stern test. A hectic start to the match proved the game was not going to be easy, but on 9 minutes Brodie found Luke with a Crossfield pass, he took it down and fired it through the keeper. Within a minute the lead was two as a long throw from Kenan was turned into the net by a defender. Normandy continued to press but Eastriggs were standing firm without really threatening a comeback. Four goals in 6 minutes before half time ended the contest, first Brodie played Gary down the right and he rounded the keeper to score then a quick free kick from Brodie caught the defence cold as Zev controlled and scored. Brodie then scored two of his own, firstly hitting the post but converting when Gary fired back in, and then a lob from 25 yards. Gary scored two identical goals on 52 and 61 minutes to bring up his hattrick, played in one in one and rounding the keeper. Cammy was clipped in the box and scored from the spot to make it nine and Zev headed in Luke's corner to bring up 10. Cammy curled home from the left to make it 11 with 15 minutes left to play but as Normandy pushed forward, they were hit with a counterattack to spoil the clean sheet. Last word went to Normandy though as Zev backheeled across goal for Cammy to score his third and complete the dozen.
