The Sunday League was back and Normandy started with a potentially tricky trip to FC Annan. A bright start saw Star in control from the off' and with 7 minutes on the clock a quick throw from Andy put Bailey clear down the right and his cross was headed home by Scott. Five minutes later the ball broke to Gary on the edge of the box and he lobbed the keeper,, another 5 minutes elapsed when Andy played the ball back to Kenan and he found the far top corner of the net and within 2 minutes it was 4 as Ben rounded the keeper to slot home. A water break seemed to destroy the rhythm of the game and it took til the 40th minute for the 5th to come, as Ben won the ball in midfield, went past 2 defenders and rolled into the net. Just before halftime Zev picked up the ball in defence, strolled forward and unleashed a 40 yard drive which almost took the net off. Ten minutes into the second half Ben almost completed his hattrick but the keeper saved with Dougie following up to score. Just before the hour mark Zev came forward again, this time playing in Bailey to make it 8. Then soon after Gary played in Dougie who got the ball out from under his feet and slotted home. On the 70 minute mark some hesitancy on the right allowed Annan to steal the ball and throw in a deep cross with the unmarked striker netting a consolation. Normandy hit double figures in the 77th minute as Munk won the ball in midfield, it broke to Cammy and he finished well. Five minutes later Innes played in Cammy but he squared to Dougie to complete his hattrick. With 5 minutes left FC Annan grabbed another goal as the striker pressured the defender into a mistake and his ball across was tapped home.
