After a convincing cup win over Lochside a few weeks ago Normandy were confident of picking up three points and made a bright start, creating several chances but failing to convert any and they paid the price on 12 minutes when Lochside were awarded a free kick in midfield which was launched into the box, Rab came to collect but spilled and the striker was on hand to net. Lochside were battling for everything and Normandy struggled to take control of the game, a free kick from Michael was tipped onto the bar and the rebound came to Bailey but he couldn't adjust to get it on target. Normandy continued to plug away in search of an equaliser but some staunch defending and a lack of luck kept them at bay until Ben swung in a corner from the left on 67 minutes and John rose to head in. Five minutes later another delivery from Ben was forced in at the back post by Bailey to put Normandy ahead. Normandy were showing nerves having lost from a similar position last week and Lochside were going route one to rescue the match, But with 5 to play the ball broke to Bailey at the back post and he slammed home to make sure of the win.
