Normandy faced an in form Hole in the Wa with only 2 points separating the sides in the table. The Wa opened the scoring inside a minute but Normandy were level midway through the first half as Ben broke from midfield and fed Jamie Rae whose shot was saved but Ben was first to the rebound to net. A pretty even first half ended level, but Normandy had the chance to go ahead early in the second as Harper was brought down, but the spot kick was saved. Another couple of chances were spurned before Wa made Star pay in the 70th minute with a breakaway and deft finish with the defence looking for an offside decision. Seven minutes later the Wa striker was left unmarked at the back post to tap home a third. A 30 yard howitzer from Arran gave Normandy hope but as they pushed for an equaliser they were caught again with no offside call allowing the striker to finish the game off.
