Normandy Star 0 Hole in the Wa 4

These two sides met twice earlier in the season, with the Wa winning 3.2 on both occasions. Normandy look to have got back to form after a mid season dip, but the Wa were on a high after a cup final win last weekend. A very cagey first half saw the teams go in goalless. Luke forced good saves from the Wa keeper just before and after the break, but it was the Wa who broke the deadlock from corner on the hour mark. A second Wa goal with ten to play seemed to seal a deserved win, and as time dwindled Wa added a third, with Normandy trying to play out from the back but getting caught. A penalty in stoppage time made it four, which was perhaps harsh on Normandy but no denying the Wa deserved the three points.
