PFD 5 Park Thistle 0
Park travelled to Clydebank, knowing little about their opponents but with high hopes. Another sluggish start saw Thistle concede an early goal as a cross came in from the right and the striker headed home inside the six yard box. As Park looked to have settled they were rocked again when a speculative shot came in and squirmed through the hands of the keeper to put them two behind. PFD continued to look dangerous but Park got more of a foothold in the game without really threatening. They started the second half more encouragingly as they looked to find a way back into the match, a third goal for the home side on the 64th minute seemed to kill the fight in Park and a fourth followed a few minutes later after a pass out from the back was intercepted and stroked into the net, and the rest of the match was played at a pedestrian pace with a fifth goal for PFD coming a couple of minutes from the end.
