Park Thistle 5 Black Bull Rovers 2
Park were looking to end a poor run and get back up to second place as they hosted the leagues basement side. Despite a warning that Black Bull were not as bad as their league position would suggest Park got off to the worst possible start when a hopeful shot spilled through the fingers of the keeper to put Rovers in front. In the 12th minute Cairn Jamieson burst into the box and was upended; Robbie Simpson made no mistake from the resultant spot kick. The game went flat with Park missing several good chance taking the half time score to 1-1. Thistle started the second half brighter and Cairn Jamieson turned the Black Bull defender inside out before coolly lobbing the on rushing keeper to put Park in front on the 52nd minute. Black Bull then levelled the score again on the 65th minute after a defensive mix up. Park then started to click into gear and with constant pressing went ahead through Quinn Rogerson. Jonny Riddick then scored a diving header in the 85th and Rab Clyde scored from a corner a minute later. Black Bull broke a few times but some great saves from Kriss Lismanis kept any chance of a comeback stifled.
