Park Thistle 5 Sands 1

Park made the perfect start as man of the match Quinn Rogerson knocked a ball over the defence for Chris Bailey to control and slot home inside a minute, and they dominated the early exchanges. Despite Park pressure it was Sands who levelled after 10 minutes as they broke down the right and the ball was cut back for the striker to score. Park were rattled but continued to dominate possession and territory before retaking the lead in the 21st minute as Jamie Simpson fired home from the left corner of the box under the keeper. Despite dominating Park couldn't put the game out of reach and Sands retained hopes of snatching something until the 63rd minute when Robert Chambers stepped up to fire a 30 yard free kick in off the underside of the crossbar. Park saw the game out comfortably after that with Jamie getting his second, heading home a Cole Rogerson corner then ten minutes from time another corner was punched into the net by the unfortunate Sands keeper to give Park a convincing win
